Tasks

  • Purchase products from suppliers and follow up on orders, deliveries, stock shortages, and back-ordered products ("B/O").
  • Identify new suppliers and participate in negotiating pricing and purchasing terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and follow up on receipts, inventories (including hospital laundries), cycle counts, and discrepancies to ensure product availability.
  • Prepare "pick lists," orders, equipment transfers, weekly summaries, and coordinate transportation activities.
  • Produce monthly laundry billing, communicate weekly alerts, and complete quarterly IFTA reports.
  • Process customer orders, assist in opening new accounts, and perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Proficiency with office software tools: strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis functions.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, to facilitate communication with international partners (30% of the time).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with other teams.

Desired profile

  • You have experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or administrative coordination and are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel); experience with an "ERP" system, especially Microsoft Nav, is considered an asset.
  • You are recognized for your organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure effective follow-ups, coordinate various stakeholders, and find solutions.
  • You are comfortable communicating with suppliers, carriers, customers, and colleagues, provide excellent customer service, and are bilingual in French and English.
  • You are interested in growing within a rapidly expanding company where you can actively contribute to operations.
