Tasks

  • Leading and developing the Human Resources Department and managing the team under your supervision:
  • Developing a strategic vision for the HR Department and setting clear objectives.
  • Encouraging the professional and personal development of each team member.
  • Providing strong and inspiring leadership to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Leading recruitment programs and planning staffing:
  • Developing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborating with department managers to understand their staffing needs and plan accordingly.
  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including selection, assessment, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Managing labour relations:
  • Establishing and maintaining harmonious relationships with employees, union representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolving conflicts and issues fairly and effectively, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal policies.
  • Establishing compensation and benefits:
  • Conducting market analyses to ensure that salaries and benefits remain competitive and aligned with industry practices.
  • Developing fair and transparent compensation policies that motivate and reward performance.
  • Overseeing replacement management:
  • Implementing effective processes to manage absences and personnel replacements.
  • Identifying and training potential replacements to ensure operational continuity.
  • Fostering organizational development:
  • Designing and implementing initiatives to improve corporate culture, internal communication, and collaboration.
  • Identifying staff training and development needs, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Cultivating skills:
  • Developing individual development plans for employees to strengthen their skills and expertise.
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous learning and sharing of knowledge within the organization.
  • Ensuring occupational health and safety:
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and implementing preventive measures and awareness programs.
  • Developing, publishing, and updating human resources policies:
  • Designing, communicating, and maintaining the company's HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and supporting organizational goals.
  • Performing other related tasks and manage projects as requested:
  • Participating in various cross-functional projects and taking on additional responsibilities based on the organization's needs.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or Industrial Relations, Law, or a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of continuous experience in leadership and human resource management.
  • Excellent understanding of the health and social services sector or a multisite environment.
  • Experience managing day-to-day human resources activities.
  • Ability to mobilize and collaborate in changing contexts and complex situations.
  • Excellent proficiency in French, both written and oral.
