Our client, a rapidly growing interior design firm in Canada for over 5 years, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead large-scale projects while bringing a unique creative vision. In this role, you will oversee multiple projects: coordinating with stakeholders, managing timelines, mentoring and supporting junior team members, all while ensuring each project maintains its artistic integrity and technical consistency. Tasks

  • Meet with clients to identify their needs for each interior design project.
  • Plan and track project timelines to manage progress and priorities.
  • Define the creative vision, mood, design direction, and identity of the spaces.
  • Supervise inspiration boards produced by junior team members.
  • Review and approve preliminary sketches and presentation designs.
  • Select materials, finishes, and furniture according to budget, durability, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with technologists and related disciplines to ensure compliance and integration.
  • Prepare submission documents and review junior team plans.
  • Follow up with clients and project sites through internal meetings and consultant coordination.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in Interior Design (required).
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant interior design experience, including projects compliant with the Quebec Building Code.
  • Experience in project and team management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Valid driver’s license for client and site visits.
  • Excellent spoken and written French; intermediate English for communication with English-speaking clients and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of MS Project is an asset.
