Our client is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics organization offering integrated supply chain solutions across North America and international markets. Through a diverse portfolio of services, the company has built a strong reputation for customer service, innovation, and operational excellence. As part of its continued growth, the organization is seeking a strategic leader to guide the next phase of expansion for its International Division. Reporting directly to the CEO, the President will assume full leadership responsibility for a growing international freight forwarding business. This individual will be responsible for driving profitability, strengthening key carrier relationships, developing the team, and executing the division’s long-term growth strategy. The successful candidate will benefit from significant autonomy and will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.

Tasks

  • Lead the overall strategy, growth, and performance of the International Division
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility and accountability for divisional results
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with major ocean carriers, airlines, and strategic partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and growth initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction across international operations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term business planning and expansion initiatives
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments affecting international logistics

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, global logistics, air cargo, or ocean freight
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience at the Vice President level or higher
  • Proven track record of leading international operations and driving profitable growth
  • Strong network and established relationships with carriers, steamship lines, airlines, and industry partners
  • Exceptional leadership, business development, and relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen
