The Business Development Associate serves as a key point of contact for clients and plays a central role in account management and follow-up. Working closely with internal teams (finance, logistics, operations, customer success), he or she ensures client satisfaction, the successful onboarding of new accounts, and the development of business relationships.
Tasks
Manage all stages of onboarding new accounts in coordination with internal departments.
Provide comprehensive support for the day-to-day management of existing and new accounts.
Track shipments, ensure required documentation is complete, and verify compliance with client requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and propose creative solutions to optimize efficiency and processes.
Prepare, analyze, and share reports related to pricing, profitability, and performance.
Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients.
Maintain and update client records in internal systems (CRM, ERP, etc.).
Convert leads generated through business initiatives into active accounts.
Occasionally travel to meet clients and visit their facilities.
Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written)approximately 50% English and 50% French, as you will be communicating with clients who primarily speak both languages.
Degree in Business, Administration, or equivalent experience.
2 to 3 years of experience in account management, customer service, or administration.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ideally in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics 365).
Team player with a client-focused attitude.
Knowledge of electronics or raw materials is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
