Our client, a company in the building materials sector, is looking for a resourceful and motivating individual to fill the role of Customer Service Supervisor. This person will play a key role in supervising the team, ensuring service quality, and overseeing the store’s daily operations.

Tasks

  • Supervise staff and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures, including alarm system management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure the store is always "business-ready."
  • Communicate effectively with both the team and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Promote a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a unionized environment (a strong asset).
  • Bilingualism required (approximately 10% of the time with customers).
  • Knowledge of hardware products (an asset).
