Tasks
Prepare meals according to the chef’s guidelines and the specific needs of residents.
Set up workstations and prep ingredients to ensure smooth meal preparation.
Ensure proper plating and maintain food quality according to established standards.
Step in for the chef when needed and coordinate kitchen operations during service.
Deliver food carts, meals, and supplies to service points as required.
Manage food orders and optimize inventory to minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
Perform any other related task.

Job requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in a kitchen setting.
Culinary training (DEP or equivalent) or relevant experience.
Good knowledge of traditional Quebec cuisine.
MAPAQ food handling or management certification, an asset.
CPR certification, an asset.
WHMIS training, an asset.
