Our client is a Quebec-based company specializing in the manufacturing of doors and windows, in business for over 45 years. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about challenges. You are the person we are looking for if you enjoy implementing procedures aimed at enhancing your and your colleagues’ work.

Tasks

  • Developing and implementing a recruitment strategy.
  • Developing, coordinating, leading, and supervising all HR initiatives, including recruitment, internal communications, appreciation programs, training, skill development, and occupational health, safety, and well-being.
  • Advising leadership on human resource management.
  • Proposing and developing human resource management policies and procedures.
  • Onboarding employees.
  • Developing strategies, procedures, and tools to promote organizational health and strengthen employer brand.
  • Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
  • Good knowledge of provincial and federal laws.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to Montreal.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
