Tasks
Oversee the shipping team: supervision, coaching, scheduling, and participation in recruitment.
Maintain a collaborative, safe, and efficient work environment.
Plan and coordinate the flow of raw materials through to the shipment of finished products.
Ensure smooth communication between purchasing, production, inventory, and customer service.
Manage relationships with suppliers (both local and international), including negotiating prices, deadlines, and contracts.
Purchase plastic films and track critical orders, particularly in imports.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure data accuracy (physical vs. system).
Develop consumption forecasts and plan long-term purchasing.
Participate in cost optimization initiatives and budget planning.
Identify and manage subcontracting partners, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines.

Job requirements
Significant experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
Experience in team supervision in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in import management (a plus).
Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory, logistics, and planning processes.
Proficiency with computer tools, especially ERP (an important asset), Excel (intermediate to advanced level), and Outlook.
Functional bilingualism (French/English), both oral and written, 15% of the time for communicating with English-speaking managers or employees.
