A non-profit organization, our client is dedicated to providing services to people with intellectual disabilities. Its primary mission is as simple and benevolent as offering support to them and their families. But that's not all! It also puts a lot of energy in raising public awareness and in the continuous development of their services. Being part of an initiative that puts support for these individuals at the core of its activities will fulfill you both professionally and personally.

Tasks

  • Manage the full accounting cycle (payroll, general ledger, financial and tax reporting, etc.) and accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with managers to establish annual budgets, process work-related accidents, and ensure compliance with labour policies and standards.
  • Track banking transactions (checks, fund transfers, donations, financial statements, cash flow, etc.)
  • Update employee files from the time of hiring to the time of departure.
  • Take charge of the employees' pension plans and group insurance.
  • Archive accounting and administrative files while participating in the continuous improvement of administrative services.
  • Support management with grant applications, fundraising and similar projects.
  • Perform other related tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job requirements

  • Academically, you have a college or vocational diploma in accounting, finance or any other relevant field.
  • Professionally, you have between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Linguistically, you are bilingual, both written and spoken.
  • In practice, you have experience or knowledge of non-profit organizations, which is an asset that will help you in your daily work.
  • In terms of IT, you are familiar with the Microsoft Dynamics GP software, which is an asset.
  • Finally, you have some experience with payroll processing and are familiar with the Nethris payroll software, this is also an asset.
