Specialized in the field of molding and plastics manufacturing, our client has left its mark for almost 50 years by constantly modernizing and innovating its facilities. Their constant growth has led to the improvement of their services, especially with their team, which is always striving to do better! They are looking for a CNC Machinist - Assembler with experience in mold making and tooling with general and conventional machining.
Tasks
Program toolpaths on the machine tools (CNC).
Machining with state-of-the-art technology and conventional tools.
Prepare and start up production and support operators.
Perform mold changeovers.
Adjust machines according to production needs.
Complete required documentation.
Perform minor maintenance on machines and equipment.
Operate various machines for machining as needed: Lathe; EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine); Wire-EDM (Wire Electrical Discharge); Grinder (Surface Grinder).
Perform and ensure the assembly, repair and maintenance of molds.
Install simple hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, slides and racks.
Comply with occupational health and safety standards.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
DEP or DEC in plastics processing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of plastic materials.
Good knowledge of CNC programming (CATIA V5 would be an asset).
Mastery of the French language, both spoken and written.
Basic knowledge of English.
Ability to exert physical effort and lift weights up to 25kg.
Experience in producing molds and matrices is an important asset.
Desired profile
