Our client, a leader in North America in the sale of bathroom and kitchen accessories, is currently looking for a Service and Sales Representative to continue the development of its business on the South Shore of Montreal. As a Service and Sales Representative, you will be the face of the company with both potential and existing customers. Your role will be to promote services, understand specific needs, and propose effective solutions. You will also travel to merchants on the South Shore of Montreal to carry out merchandising and set up or refurbish displays. Additionally, presenting the company’s products in-store and offering the best possible vision will be your responsibility, aiming to find innovative ways to showcase the products. You will need to ensure inventory control, making sure there is always sufficient stock in stores to meet customer demand in the best possible way.

Tasks

  • Provide expertise to customers, maintain relationships and stimulate new business (potential customers, sales opportunities) and product sales.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for accounts.
  • Provide demonstrations and maintain the organization's brand image in the market.
  • Ensure merchandising and inventory control.
  • Perform installation, quality control and maintenance at merchants.
  • Monitor and analyze the various customer results to determine whether needs are being met in terms of after-sales and troubleshooting (repairs, start-ups and training).
  • Attend and conduct sales presentations to various companies.
  • Develop and provide a sales plan aligned with the company's objectives including key performance indicators.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal resources to optimize and determine strategic sales approaches.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • You have your secondary school diploma (DES).
  • A degree in business administration, sales or marketing (an asset).
  • Your experience in the field of sales or merchandising is between 3 and 5 years.
  • To facilitate travel and limit wasted time, it is necessary to live on the South Shore of Montreal, where you have expertise in the territory.
  • Good knowledge of planograms.
  • You will have to travel to hardware stores, you are not afraid to work with your hands and get dirty.
  • You have knowledge in the construction, plumbing or hardware sectors (asset).
  • You know IT very well.
  • You are the proud holder of a valid Quebec driving license (class 5).
  • You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written (mandatory, the head office is in the United States and the company has a large English-speaking customer base).
