Our client, an important player in the energy market, is currently looking for a Building Operations Manager to join their team in Sept-Îles.
Tasks
Support and provide customer service to building occupants.
Manage a team of trades people: mechanic, electrician, air conditioning repairperson, civilian employee, etc.
Oversee and coordinate maintenance and service calls.
Ensure quality of employee work and effectiveness of equipment.
Develop building operations and investment budgets.
Assess and monitor the efficiency and quality of building maintenance programs.
Coordinate the completion of engineering and project work.
Follow-up on operations engineering progress.
Draw up a building durability plan.
Follow up on critical emergency calls and provide technical assistance to team as required.
Prepare, plan and coordinate preventative stops, fixes.
Validate layout work.
Perform a quality control of the service and equipment.
Take part in the development of sector contracts.
Manage service material supply contracts.
Confirm invoicing data with customers.
Develop and maintain communications between departments.
Oversee the human, material and financial resources of your department.
Carry out any other similar tasks.

Job requirements
DCS, Bachelor’s degree or technical training in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance/management.
At least 1 year of experience relevant to staff management.
Knowledge of the unionized environment (strong asset).
Computer knowledge of the Office suite.
Driver’s license (or in the process of obtaining one).
Being available to travel within Quebec by land, air and sea.
Fluency in French, functional English (asset).
