We are partnering with a company that distributes over 9000 building materials and is currently looking for 2 new employees.

Tasks

  • Send orders to suppliers and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure the recording and follow-up of infractions related to the purchasing department.
  • Perform data entry for the management of system operations (prices, forecasts and safety stocks).
  • Request prices and availability from suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Manage agreements - Renewals and new agreements.
  • Be responsible for relationships with suppliers (RFP process).
  • Work in collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Submit purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure inventory management (required quantity, quality, location, time, etc.).
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Diploma in operations management - supply (DEP or DEC).
  • Knowledge of insulation construction materials - an asset.
  • Knowledge of an ERP and/or MRP environment - an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel, Outlook and Word).
  • Good level of French/English bilingualism - Bilingual suppliers and customers.
