As a Chemical Engineer in research and development, you will have the opportunity to build international relationships in your area of expertise. In your role, you will manage projects related to the development of products and technologies within the Research and Development Department.
Tasks
Managing innovative projects in the development of new chemical products or processes related to energetic materials.
Design protocols to study chemical processes and perform physicochemical measurements related to energetic materials.
Actively participating in experiments in the laboratory, pilot plant, and production.
Coordinating and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to improve existing products.
Developing initial plans for projects under your supervision, and contributing to the development of technical documents for R&D contract submissions.
Maintaining close client relationships by making presentations, and providing project progress and technical reports.
Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
At least five years’ experience in a similar position.
Mastery of the French and English languages, both oral and written.
Expertise in project management is an asset.
Expertise in simulation and modelling is a significant advantage.
