Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company located in Sherbrooke, is currently seeking a CNC machinist to join its production team. Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the selected individual will play a key role in programming, operating, and setting up CNC equipment, while ensuring the compliance and quality of the parts produced.
Tasks
Program and operate CNC machines (lathes and milling machines).
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes.
Apply machining and finishing methods according to drawings and specifications.
Inspect and validate produced parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Properly use measuring and inspection instruments.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
DEP, AEC, or equivalent training in machining or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with CNC lathes using FANUC controls (an asset).
