Are you an experienced and motivated CNC machinist programmer? Are you seeking a growing company with an organizational culture that values collaboration? As part of the company's development and specialization in large-scale custom parts, our client is looking for a CNC machinist programmer specializing in milling. You will be responsible for machine programming and determining the optimal setup while ensuring compliance with specified dimensions in technical drawings. Over time, you will be involved in programming and operating various machine tools. Your contribution will be essential to the development of machining activities within the company.

Tasks

  • Analyze technical drawings, plans, graphs, and charts, as well as sample parts, to determine necessary machining operations and establish the optimal sequence of operations.
  • Program and operate a vertical boring machine using software such as ESPRITCAM, FeatureCAM, MasterCam, EasyCam, etc.
  • Optimize the setup of workpieces to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Perform dimension and tolerance calculations, measure and arrange machining elements.
  • Verify the dimensions of machined parts and tooling using instruments such as micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, etc.
  • Identify and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to the supervisor.
  • Use lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and hoists for material handling.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEP in machining and ASP in CNC programming, or a DEC in mechanical engineering, or any other relevant training.
  • Minimum 5 years or more of experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office 365 suite.
  • Knowledge of a CAM software.
