Our growing business partner, specializing in custom-made parts of impressive size, is actively seeking a press brake expert to join their team. Take on the challenge and become an essential piece of their success! In this exciting role, you will be directly supervised by the Foreman and tasked with creating innovative bends based on plans and schematics, in order to form, trace, and cut oversized parts with various components.

Tasks

  • Operating equipment such as press brakes and benders to shape parts according to provided schematics.
  • Preparing materials by performing various related tasks.
  • Accurately interpreting plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Mastering CNC plasma and gas machine operation for precise part cutting.
  • Executing calculations to determine the number of parts to produce from raw material.
  • Using various tools such as band saws, bevelling machines, and other similar equipment.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DVS in Precision Sheet Metal Work is considered an asset.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with other equipment such as saws or shears is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of different types of materials.
