Our client, a manufacturer specializing in the production of aluminum products, an international company with customers all over the world is currently looking for a new Controller.

Your mission will be to work closely with the Vice President of Finance, mobilize and lead a team through a human approach, and be responsible for all day-to-day activities, from finances to financial statements.
This position is based in Hawkesbury and offers a great work environment with the VP of Finance as your mentor, having held the position previously.
Tasks
Manage and lead the finance department.
Supervise the finance team.
Prepare complete monthly and quarterly consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements and analyses.
Prepare budget and financial forecasts and analyze variance reports.
Prepare a quarterly reporting package for directors.
Provide internal reports, revise and update reports to be more useful and effective and provide external reports as needed.
Approve and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Perform intercompany processing and reconciliation.
Review and analyze foreign exchange.
Prepare plans for external auditors.
Coordinate and lead year-end audits.
Assist in the development of monthly forecasts, annual budget process, and strategic plans.
Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a CPA designation.
Five years of experience in accounting in the manufacturing and production industry.
Bilingualism, both spoken and written and/or English as your first language with a good level of French.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint).
