Our client, an expert in tire distribution in Canada, is looking for a Credit and Collection Agent to join their Montreal team (Metro Crémazie). Your role? Seek mutual understanding, provide solutions and experiment with new avenues with a common goal!
Follow up on payments, account openings and applicable credits with customers.
Make collection calls.
Analyze new customers and review existing customers.
Perform line of credit approvals according to company policy.
Follow up on payments.
Reconcile accounts and maintenance of accounts receivable.
Collect documents for collection agencies and bad debts.
Complete various reports.
Perform any other related tasks.

At least 1 year of experience in collections or credit analysis.
DEP or DEC in a related field (ex: accounting).
Intermediate level in Excel.
Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector desirable (an asset).
Knowledge of SAP software (an asset).
Must be available to work one weekend day if needed (paid overtime).
Have negotiation skills while maintaining good relationships with clients.
