Our client is a Quebec-based conglomerate with over 150 years of experience in business! They are currently seeking a Crewing Coordinator for their site in Quebec City. The primary responsibility will be to coordinate the assignment of crew members on board the various ships.
Tasks
Identify needs for maritime personnel.
Ensure that assigned personnel on ships possess the necessary certifications.
Coordinate travel arrangements with the captain and various unions.
Update assignment lists and coordinate with human resources.
Create employee files with the required documents.
Address all questions and opinions from employees.
Ensure compliance with time sheets and expense reports submitted by personnel.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline for the position with a minimum of 3 years of personnel management experience, or a DEC with 5 years of experience.
Functional English proficiency.
Proficiency in MS Office software.
Availability for on-call duty one weekend out of four.
