Join this steadfast company's Edmonton operation as a Driver Training Supervisor.

Tasks

  • Take leads to supervise the daily activities of the drivers.
  • Be responsible for assessing each individual training needs and coordinate the implementation of training plans for this group.
  • Develop a training plan for the drivers, keep the drivers' training files along with the driver’s qualifications charts for audit purposes.
  • Provide instructions to the new drivers and re-certify existing drivers.
  • Prepare forms, conduct audit, track and compile the results of quality concerns for the customer facilities.
  • Ensure follow-up and corrective actions.
  • Monitor, develop and implant drivers’ safety plan and prepare reports.
  • Advise the management for any improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Postsecondary education in road transportation management is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge in quality system, transportation of dangerous materials, team facilitation, road system, road laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in the MS Office and other software.
  • Class 1 License is required.
