Our client, who has exclusively commissioned Bedard Resources, is looking to fill a Financial Analyst position for one of their largest projects with the Société de transport de l'Outaouais, specifically, the Gatineau-Ottawa tram project.   • Managing the project's finances and associated grant and financing programs
  • Following up with government bodies and other relevant authorities
  • Supervising the monitoring of the project’s financing and financial files
  • Collaborating with the Finance Department of STO on various project-related matters
  • Monitoring payments from each funding source quickly
  • Managing any other tasks requested by the immediate supervisor

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants preferred
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience as a financial analyst in the public or municipal sectors, or relevant companies
  • Good knowledge of federal and provincial laws applicable to the field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and complex formulas)
  • Good command of spoken and written French
  • Good mastery of Office 365
