You will be primarily responsible for accounting activities, administrative management, and cost price processes for our client, a producer of thermoplastic elastomer products. Tasks

  • Working closely with department managers to prepare and monitor operational budgets.
  • Taking responsibility for all company accounting processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and collections.
  • Supporting the sales team by providing detailed financial analyses, calculating standard and actual costs, managing depreciation, and evaluating machinery purchases and product category profitability.
  • Maintaining and developing positive relationships with financial institutions.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analyses for investment projects, the company's financial structure, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of two, consisting of an accounts payable and receivable specialist and an accounting technician.
  • Performing any other related tasks as required by the company.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or financial management.
  • CPA designation (asset).
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Bilingual.
  • Excellent command of accounting software, Acomba (asset).
