Our client is currently looking for a Fleet Management Specialist to work at their head office in downtown Montreal and to be primarily responsible for providing technical support to maintenance activities and guiding continuous improvement activities, while promoting ALC safety objectives. Improve the overall condition and reliability of the product transportation fleet.
Manage the asset rehabilitation program by making decisions on units, schedule, vendors, and scope.
Identify and provide investment justifications for bulk fleets as required.
Assists in the specification of new equipment and components with input from the field, vendors, and engineering assistance.
Assists in the proper use of the computerized maintenance management system (MIRR) and must be a skilled user of the program.
Support operations by responding to change requests on assets via the change management process.
Ensure appropriate SOPs are in place and up to date as part of the position.
Conduct field audits of standards as required by the Air Liquide program
Provide training to staff on work practices and procedures and ensure alignment of maintenance practices.
Ensure follow-up on safety and quality standards and procedures to provide continuous improvement.
Perform all other duties related to the position.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in an industrial field, including 3 in fleet operations and maintenance management.
Travelling at 5%.
Must complete IMS, MIRR in-house training.
CSA B260 certified.
Strong communication skills in English and French (oral and written).
Strong leadership skills and positive proactive approach to challenges.
Strong analytical skills to be used in a continuous process improvement environment.
