A fleet of heavy vehicles to maintain by your own hands: your experience as a mechanic allows you to ensure the smooth running of the fleet of a large and growing client in the transportation industry.   • Perform preventive maintenance on engines.
  • Use various software to diagnose problems.
  • Complete vehicle repair analysis: from diagnosis to adjustments, and repair identification.
  • Maintain and repair various systems (general mechanics; hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems, etc.).
  • Ensure that the equipment is compliant at all times.
  • Take part in any other related task for the smooth running of the garage operations.

Job requirements

  • You have experience in general or heavy-duty equipment mechanics.
  • You have a basic toolbox.
  • Experience in MIG welding is an asset.
  • You have completed a vocational training program (DEP) in heavy equipment mechanics and/or auto mechanics, an asset.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license, an asset.
  • PMP card, an asset.
  • Any experience with equipment is considered a strong asset.
