HR Manager / Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience

Your expertise in Human Resources and your passion for culture and history make you the ideal candidate for this opportunity. As an HR Generalist, you will collaborate with the Management to ensure effective management of the Human Resources department, within an environment enriched by history, culture, and exhibitions.

Tasks

  • Contribute to workforce planning in line with the strategic and business plans.
  • Collaborate with various departments to determine organizational needs and develop job profiles according to the organizational structure.
  • Manage all stages of recruitment, from developing effective attraction strategies to personnel integration.
  • Provide employees with advice on Museum HR policies and programs.
  • Establish and maintain retention best practices in collaboration with managers and employees.
  • Monitor management indicators through various analyses (turnover rates, absenteeism, exit interviews, etc.).
  • Evaluate positions to determine salary levels, taking into account the compensation structure.
  • Administer group insurance and contribute to renewal efforts by seeking the best cost-to-protection ratio.
  • Manage personnel movement records (disability, untreated leaves, departures, etc.).
  • Plan and oversee salary subsidy programs.
  • Approve payroll for all employees while ensuring compliance with policies and collective agreements.
  • Manage workplace health and safety records.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • You have a degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any other relevant field for the position.
  • You have experience in a similar role (minimum 5 years).
  • You are very proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You have excellent French (spoken and written) and functional English.
  • You are a member of the CRHA Order (a considerable asset).
