As your next assignment, you will be setting up a human resources department for Chapais Énergie, a company that has exclusively mandated Bédard Ressources humaines to recruit the key person to organize, direct and control all activities related to sound human resources management.
This role will call on your interpersonal, entrepreneurial and human resources management skills. Your responsibilities will include, among others, the strategic development of talent attraction and employee retention, as well as the necessary support in the application of policies and programs related to human resources development (development, performance evaluation) and support for all personnel.

Tasks
Create and implement a human resources department.
Organize, direct and control all activities related to human resources management.
Provide strategic advice on human resources policies.
Analyze workforce needs.
Manage and conduct hiring and exit interviews and oversee reassignment activities.
Carry out all staffing activities and ensure compliance with selection, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and integration policies and programs.
Implement methods and tools for the smooth operation of HR.
Prepare, manage and participate in collective agreements.
Promote OHS, manage files and disabilities.
Participate in OHS committee and management meetings.
Follow up accident files with the Commission des normes, de l'équité et de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST).
Support general management in actions to be taken with regard to organizational climate.
Carry out any other related tasks linked to the position of Human Resources Manager and the achievement of Chapais Énergie's objectives.

Job requirements
University degree in human resources or industrial management, administration or equivalent.
5 years' experience in a human resources management or coordination position in a similar organization.
Proficiency in French at an advanced level.
Experience in negotiations and collective bargaining.
