Tasks

  • Human Resources Management:
  • Optimize employee management and improve communication to minimize conflicts and reduce turnover.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee file management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations (CNESST, certifications) and manage disciplinary measures.
  • Develop compensation practices and manage employee benefits.
  • Participate in workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Employer Branding & Employee Engagement:
  • Position the company as an employer of choice and enhance its visibility.
  • Manage internal and digital HR communications.
  • Organize corporate events and promote talent retention.
  • Stay up to date with best HR practices.
  • Strategic Support & Development:
  • Advise management on HR strategies and workforce planning.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Education: BAA in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Administration (HR concentration), or Organizational Development.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, excellent communication in French.
  • Must be able to travel to construction sites periodically.
  • Knowledge Quebec labor laws, construction industry (an asset).
  • CRHA membership (an asset).
