Tasks
Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, diagrams, and schematics.
Install, modify, and connect wiring systems, conduits, panels, and electrical equipment in institutional and commercial buildings.
Perform installation and maintenance of lighting, heating, power, and electrical distribution systems.
Pull cables and install conduits (EMT, flexible, etc.) in both finished and technical areas, including discreet pathways in occupied spaces.
Ensure the conformity, safety, and proper functioning of installations according to the Canadian Electrical Code.
Diagnose failures, perform necessary repairs, and conduct functional tests.
Strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards and client procedures (including access control, security screening, and required forms).
