They are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician specializing in chemical testing to join their team at their Beauharnois facility.
Tasks
Implementing quality plans, all operational procedures, and quality assurance measures.
Conducting physical and chemical tests with minimal supervision.
Interpreting analysis results within the limitations of the analysis methods and sampling techniques used.
Researching anomalies in analysis and results.
Assisting in maintaining the inventory of chemicals, measurement equipment, controls, and testing equipment for analytical controls.
Handling reception of documents and ensuring all necessary ones are in place to comply with the ISO 9001 quality assurance program.
Identifying potential technical, administrative, or health and safety issues within the laboratory.
Participating in the laboratory's continuous improvement process.
Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
College degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment, such as chemical product industries using automated equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of SAP.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and materials.
