Day shift schedule, 35 hours per week (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday).
Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a dignified home for vulnerable families, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. Tasks

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on equipment.
  • Travel between Châteauguay and Chambly to carry out interventions.
  • Experience in tasks such as plastering, changing a toilet, replacing a water heater, changing a thermostat, a radiator, installing light fixtures, laying flooring, unclogging a toilet, reprogramming an intercom, changing locks.
  • Diagnose faults and propose effective solutions.
  • Ensure the compliance and safety of installations.
  • Keep maintenance reports and technical follow-ups up to date.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan interventions.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • Experience in maintenance and upkeep: 5 years (required).
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (required).
  • Available to take emergency calls during evenings and weekends (approximately 1 week out of 3) and able to travel during this period if there are emergencies.
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Autonomy, organizational skills, and ability to work on the go.
