Our partner is a trucking company based in Montreal East for over 40 years and is currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team of approximately 50 people. As a mechanic, your main responsibility will be to repair various mechanical components of trucks, including hydraulics, electrical systems, turbos, and more.
Our client, affiliated with the SAAQ, stands out in the field of commercial truck distribution across Canada. Their mission is simple: to ensure that goods reach their destination by ensuring that trucks are in good condition.
Tasks
Performing repairs, adjustments, and fixes on mechanical components.
Checking truck maintenance.
Conducting oil changes for trucks.
Performing various tests and diagnostics.
Participating in any other related tasks for the smooth running of operations.

Job requirements
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics.
Proficiency in either one of the official languages, French or English.
Ability to handle various mechanical components (hydraulics, brakes, electrical systems, oil, turbo).
Class 3 driver's license (an asset).
Ability to tolerate dirt, unpleasant smells, and varying temperatures.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
