Day shift, 40 hours per week (Several flexible schedules available).
Our client, a company located in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, is looking for a mechanical components assembler to join its production team.
Apply for this position
Tasks
Perform assemblies of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
Read various types of plans (hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical) to properly execute the tasks.
Perform tests to ensure the quality and proper functioning of the assemblies by identifying tolerances and compliance.
Support the team in cleaning, polishing, separating, and hanging the cut metal parts.
Use mechanical tools and machines (grinders, hammers, wrenches, general tools).
Execute all mechanical and hydraulic assembly tasks.
Adhere to manufacturing schedules, production standards, and quality norms.
Operate a forklift and be able to use overhead cranes.
Conduct a general quality inspection of the assembled product.
Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
College diploma or diploma in electromechanics or a related field.
3 years of experience in assembly or similar positions.
Knowledge of tools for screwing, drilling, assembling, and loosening various components.
Excellent reading skills for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical plans.
High regard for workplace health and safety.
Ability to operate a forklift and knowledge of overhead crane operations.
Fluency in French, both oral and written.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
