Our client, located in Granby, is a company specializing in the design, transformation, and treatment of metal parts. With fully integrated production, it ensures rigorous control at every stage, guaranteeing precision, reliability, and flexibility to meet the specific needs of its clients. As part of its growth, the company is seeking welders for its evening shift to strengthen its team.
Tasks
Manufacture metal parts according to the specifications provided in the technical drawings from clients.
Assemble and weld metal structures using various materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Complete various documents related to production, quality, and technical adjustments.
Inspect parts at different stages of the process to identify any irregularities or defects.
Contribute to optimization and work method improvement initiatives.
Ensure the quality of materials used throughout the manufacturing process.
Apply the required quality and quantity controls to the fabricated parts.
Operate a forklift and overhead crane to move products.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Mastery of MIG, TIG, and spot welding processes on various metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
Extensive knowledge in sheet metal work.
Relevant experience of at least two (2) years in a similar position.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings in 2D and 3D.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read 3D and technical drawings.
Welding certification (CWB) for aluminum and/or steel (an asset).
Ability to operate a forklift and lifting equipment (training provided on-site).
