Our client, a well-established Quebec company specializing in the design and fabrication of outdoor structures, is looking for a MIG welder to contribute to durable aluminum projects in their workshop in Sainte-Catherine. You will transform aluminum into strong and elegant structures: railings, balconies, stairs, and architectural components built to last. If you have experience with MIG welding on aluminum and value both finish quality and structural integrity, this role is for you!

Tasks

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding plans for simple and complex components.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and parts required for metal assembly.
  • Perform MIG welding on aluminum according to established procedures.
  • Deliver welds that ensure the strength, durability, and safety of structures.
  • Clean, deburr, and visually inspect welds to guarantee a high-quality finish.
  • Follow all workshop safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.

Job requirements

  • DEP in Welding and Fabrication or an equivalent Quebec-recognized training.
  • Minimum 4 years of MIG welding experience on aluminum in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Access to a car for easy travel between workshops.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and confidence using various welding tools and equipment.
  • Strong metric measurement skills and ability to read precise measurements.
  • Punctual, reliable, and responsible, with a strong sense of accountability.
