Tasks

  • Preparation and Management of Raw Materials:
  • Consult work instructions, record all steps of the process, and apply the procedures outlined in the manufacturing file.
  • Convert measurements for mixtures (kilograms, grams, ml).
  • Feed the mixer (manual) with ingredients.
  • Follow the mixing manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials in bulk volumes.
  • Preparation and Maintenance of Equipment:
  • Prepare and set up the equipment required for production (mixers, pumps, filtration units, etc.).
  • Clean the equipment according to current procedures and collaborate with the sanitation team for complete room cleaning.
  • Calibrate measuring instruments, if necessary.
  • Communication and Safety:
  • Inform the production manager, production coordinator, or R&D team if there are doubts about documentation, the quality of raw materials, or the appearance of products in production.
  • Use the required protective equipment and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEP in production equipment operation or any other related training.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a production operator in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food sectors.
  • Knowledge of GMP and excellent knowledge of hygiene standards and sanitation procedures.
  • Familiarity with metric systems.
  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
  • WHMIS training (an asset).
  • Forklift driving certification (an asset).
  • Knowledge of conversion measurements.

  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort, such as lifting heavy loads and moving materials.
  • Aptitude for taking initiative and quickly adapting to unexpected situations.
  • Ability to handle numerical data and perform precise measurements.
