Always looking for the best solutions for their customers, they are looking to add an equally passionate Parts and Order Clerk to their team.

Tasks

  • Ensure customer inquiries are answered by phone, email, fax in a timely manner;
  • Make recommendations for parts that best suit the customer's needs;
  • Manage customer transactions including quotes, purchase orders and returns;
  • Promote new products and product updates;
  • Generate sales required to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong and lasting customer relationships by providing excellent customer service;
  • Assist in the resolution of delinquent accounts and customer complaints;
  • Work closely with other divisions (Engineering, Equipment, Service, Manufacturing) to develop your technical knowledge of our equipment;
  • Perform warehouse clerk duties as required;
  • Take part in any other related task necessary for the smooth running of the services.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma and/or preferable vocational training.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position related to technical customer service and after sales.
  • Experience in the sale of spare parts for heavy industrial equipment is an asset
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and all aspects of inbound and outbound shipments, and inventory control is a plus.
  • Driver's license to operate a stand-up electric forklift (asset).
  • Office environment, be able to work seated and ability to provide physical effort, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
  • Be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.

Desired profile

  • You have developed strong interpersonal skills during your years in customer service and customer service is a passion for you.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Your technical knowledge makes it easy to talk to people regarding selling, advising or promoting parts.
