Our client in Montreal is looking for an experienced press brake operator, specialized in metal bending, to ensure impeccable results. You will be responsible for transforming raw materials into finished products of exceptional quality, paying close attention to every detail and adhering to technical specifications.

Tasks
Inspect and prepare the press brake before use.
Install and adjust bending tools and dies according to job specifications.
Check oil levels and machine operating conditions.
Measure and verify produced parts to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
Adjust press parameters (pressure, length, angles) based on job specifications.
Load and position materials on the press brake.
Perform bending operations in accordance with production plans and instructions.
Identify and correct errors or defects in the bending process.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including schematics, cross-sections, and manufacturing details.
Knowledge of symbols used in plans to identify materials, processes, and finishes.
Ability to understand bending instructions, including angles, lengths, and bending sequences.
Aptitude to verify that the produced parts match exactly the specifications outlined in the plans.
Desired profile
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a press brake operator or in a similar role.
Experience with various types of metals such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
Specialized training in operating press brakes for metal (a plus).
Proficiency with metal measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances of parts.
