The Preventive Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of the plant’s equipment. This person drives best-in-class maintenance practices, oversees scheduling, and optimizes resources to keep assets running at peak efficiency.
Tasks
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and oversee their application.
Conduct regular equipment condition inspections and generate work orders as needed.
Develop, enhance, and maintain preventive maintenance programs and inspection plans.
Ensure maintenance activities meet quality standards and oversee maintenance scheduling.
Analyze root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions to improve reliability.
Contribute to maintenance budget preparation and provide technical justification for activities.
Coordinate with production and planning teams to optimize maintenance interventions.
Track performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job requirements
Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Knowledge of industrial processes and computer tools (SAP)
Strong diagnostic skills (vibration analysis, lubrication, root cause analysis)
Strong problem-solving abilities, data analysis skills, and priority management
Solid communication and leadership skills; ability to perform under pressure
