Reporting to the Director, the Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and planning production activities to ensure optimal use of resources and adherence to deadlines. This strategic role directly contributes to performance and customer satisfaction.
Tasks
Planning and adjusting production orders based on forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
Optimizing the use of resources (labor, equipment, materials) in collaboration with internal teams.
Coordinating with logistics and procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and the delivery of finished products.
Analyzing performance indicators and discrepancies to propose solutions for improving productivity.
Verifying the compliance of orders and production setups, anticipating and correcting errors before launch.
Communicating with teams and customers to address questions and inform about possible delays.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, including optimizing the ERP system and internal practices.
Performing other related tasks.

Job requirements
Education: College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in planning or production management.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in administrative support or planning.
Strong proficiency with an ERP system and the Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles is considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities.
In-depth understanding of production processes and specific manufacturing requirements.
