Tasks

  • Mastery of documents: carefully reviewing plans, drawings, and specifications provided by architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure a thorough and precise understanding of the project.
  • Strategic procurement: collaborating with project assistants to identify needs and organize the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
  • Optimal coordination: distributing manufacturing plans according to production priorities and ensuring smooth communication between teams.
  • Thorough monitoring: overseeing installations and construction activities on-site, working closely with superintendents.
  • Time and cost management: leading the management of production schedules, delivery schedules, and budgets to ensure the achievement of defined objectives.
  • Interdepartmental communication: ensuring careful monitoring of procurement while promoting smooth communication between various departments.
  • Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DCS in Architecture or any other relevant education.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Relevant experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of Québec construction laws and regulations.
  • Strong ability to read plans.
  • Good computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, and Autocad.
  • Bilingualism mandatory.
