In this key role, you will ensure that finished products meet strict standards and that production processes are optimized to minimize defects and enhance overall performance. Tasks

  • Ensure that part dimensions comply with quality standards.
  • Manage quality discrepancies by identifying non-conformities and taking appropriate actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement actions and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Conduct regular inspections in line with established standards and make decisions regarding product acceptance or rejection.
  • Complete documentation and draft various reports based on inspection outcomes.
  • Audit and ensure the necessary certifications for the company.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to resolve issues and eliminate losses.
  • Perform any other related tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the quality department.

Job requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or any relevant training/experience deemed equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing techniques and assembly methods.
  • CWB Level 1 or 2 inspector certification is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of metrology tools and blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, NADCAP, and CWB quality and management systems.
  • Strong written and oral proficiency in French and functional English.
