Tasks

  • Analyze commercial leases.
  • Summarize and identify important clauses to be addressed.
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets and modify them as needed.
  • Negotiate annual service contracts.
  • Communicate with various specialists: architects, engineers and municipalities.
  • Open files and update them.
  • Update internal documents.
  • Prepare reports/budgets as requested by the client.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports according to predetermined formats.
  • Supervise building staff.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Degree in real estate or management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a property management position.
  • Excellent level of bilingualism.
  • Advanced Excel skills (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Experience with commercial leases (great asset).
  • Knowledge of construction/renovation work, including contract negotiations with general contractors (asset).
  • Experience in handling insurance claims (asset).
