Evening shift (12 to 9 pm, may vary depending on show schedule), of 37.5 hours per week.
New opportunity in the event industry! Would you like to spend the summer in the Old Port of Montreal and further your experience as a receptionist/administrative assistant? We want to meet you! Our client, a world-renowned arts organization, is looking for the right person to assist with various tasks.

Tasks

  • Take and distribute messages.
  • Welcome and help anyone coming to the Tour Services Office; Help office staff with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain office supplies - organize + ordering.
  • Handling mail and courier; Responsible for shipping and receiving (external and internal mail).
  • Operate the photocopier machine - copies + scanning.
  • Find resources for gatherings/events for the Tour.
  • We are maintaining the office in a clean and orderly manner.

Job requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a receptionist or similar position.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and the Internet.
  • Good knowledge of the local area, tourism, and cultural events.
