Tasks

  • Work in close collaboration with the research and development team (made up of four people).
  • Follow up on stability studies, prepare internal evaluations and compile observations.
  • Maintain stability charts up to date and make the necessary changes (e.g.: monitor and maintain incubator conditions).
  • Handle the management of samples.
  • Participate in the execution of routine evaluations and tests (e.g.: pH, viscosity, Brix, density, etc.).
  • Take part in the preparation of external analysis orders and samples as well as shipping.
  • Maintain quality records up to date (e.g.: nutrition and contaminants results tables, finished product specifications, compliance tables).
  • Classify certificates of analysis.
  • Participate in taking pictures of the products and in standardizing the photographs.
  • Take part in the evaluation of customer complaint samples and report to Qc.
  • Participate in maintaining the smooth running of the lab (keep it orderly and clean, order supplies, raw materials rotation, etc.).
  • Participate in the management of nutritional information in the Genesis software.
  • Take part in any other related tasks for the smooth running of operations.

Job requirements

  • DEC in dietetics or from ITAQ in food process and quality technologies.
  • Knowledge of the food distribution industry – quality control and development.
  • Experience in a similar position – an asset.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel especially).
  • Good level of bilingualism – English and French essential (bilingual clientele).
