Our client, an international welding company located in Lachine, is looking for a Sales Technical Representative to support their existing customers and business development in the greater Montreal area, Outaouais, Ottawa-Cornwall and Abitibi.   • Developing sales and customer relationships within assigned territory.
  • Analyzing existing and future customer needs and driving sales profitability.
  • Providing advice to customers on the selection of suggested products.
  • Meeting client needs and ensuring consistent and effective follow-up.
  • Providing product training and presenting existing sales tools.
  • Soliciting new independent customers and distributors.
  • Conducting follow-up meetings with existing clients.
  • Completing technical and sales refresher workshop training.
  • Representing the company at promotional events, business review, etc.
  • Finding innovative strategies to develop market share.
  • Carrying out any other tasks required for the position.

Job requirements

  • DCS in Metallurgy, DVS in Welding, or combination of distribution experience.
  • Technical sales experience (asset).
  • Knowledge of welding, maintenance, and repair (asset).
  • Bilingual, French (functional English).
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
