Shipping and Receiving Manager

Tasks

• Receiving and inspecting parts.
• Validating documentation with the quality department.
• Unloading trucks, inspecting goods (damages, discrepancies), and comparing with delivery slips/invoices.
• Managing inventory: storing goods, updating registers, and levels in the system.
• Preparing outgoing orders (packaging, labeling, documentation).
• Keeping records up to date for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinating with buyers and supervising loading/unloading operations.
• Collaborating with internal sales, purchasing, and after-sales service to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of current procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in databases for data entry and correction.
• Intermediate proficiency in English, due to frequent discussions (50%) with colleagues in Ontario and clients in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
