Tasks
Ensure the proper operation of boilers, generators, pumps, motors, fans, compressors etc.
Test water quality of boilers, deaerators and condensate.
Inspect boiler water level, temperature and pressure alarms.
Perform cleaning, lubrication and adjustment of boilers, pumps, motors, fans, compressors, etc.
Analyze, diagnose and solve problems related to various mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Schedule preventive maintenance shutdowns.
Complete daily reports on the computer system.
Comply with occupational health and safety standards and policies.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
DEP in stationary engine mechanics required.
Hold a class 2 or 3 stationary engineer certification recognized by the Ministry of Labour.
2 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment that uses boilers.
Knowledge of the principles of control loop operation and valves.
Good knowledge of OHS laws, regulations and standards.
Desired profile
Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts.
Ability to work in an environment with variable temperatures.
