Tasks
Clean and sterilize tools, equipment, and medical devices according to current standards.
Sort, decontaminate, and prepare reusable medical material.
Inspect, assemble, and package materials before sterilization.
Disinfect, sterilize, store, and distribute medical equipment.
Perform quality control at each step of the process and document it.
Report any incident or situation that compromises patient safety.
Use medical device reprocessing equipment.
Prepare service rooms: clean surfaces, change sheets, and transport soiled trays.
Keep the break room clean and organized: change sheets, tidy up, and ensure availability of clean linens.
Wash, fold, and store bedding, laundry, and work clothing.
Maintain the sterilization room clean at all times.
Check inventories and report any product below the required threshold to the nurse in charge of purchases.
Participate in special projects with the team.
Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
Hold a certificate in medical device reprocessing or be in the 2nd or 3rd year of the program, or have any other relevant combination of experience.
Proficiency in French.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
Be available for a minimum of 21 hours per week, up to a maximum of 35 hours per week depending on the need.
